Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Launchpad — Bookmark New Tab is built with a simple privacy rule: your bookmarks and browsing preferences belong only to you.
No Data Collection
Launchpad does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any personal information, bookmark data, search queries, or usage analytics. There are no accounts, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts.
How Your Data Stays on Your Device
- Bookmarks: Launchpad reads and organizes bookmarks directly inside your browser using Chrome’s built-in Bookmarks system. Any bookmarks or folders you add, rename, move, or delete are updated directly in your Chrome bookmarks.
- Preferences & Settings: Your chosen root folder, theme, layout style, icon size, and accent color are saved in Chrome’s built-in extension storage so your settings are remembered each time you open a New Tab.
- Website Icons (Favicons): Website icons are loaded locally from Chrome’s internal icon cache without contacting external icon services.
